Use This Workflow When
Use this workflow when the cluster is still on Azure Stack HCI 22H2 or another pre-Azure Local state and must complete Microsoft OS upgrade prerequisites before SBE updates apply.
Outcome
The cluster reaches an Azure Local version that can use the normal DataON SBE installation or update workflows.

- You have confirmed DataON or OEM support for the target Azure Local version

Choose the SBE Workflow
Continue with the DataON SBE workflow that matches the upgraded system
- If no SBE is installed, continue with first-time SBE installation.
- If SBE is installed and the update requires vendor files, use manual update installation.
- If the download connector is configured, use the download connector update workflow.
